Wiona Mae Janssen, 85, of Lubbock was born August 7, 1932 in Richland, NM to Cullen and Lottie (Cares) Hightower. She married Ted Janssen and worked as a hairdresser and in insurance sales. Wiona enjoyed her flower garden, bowling, and golf.

Wiona went to be with the Lord Monday, September 11, 2017. Her parents, husband, and 2 sisters: Flora Richards and Culleen Graham all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Dwala and husband H.L. May; son: Daniel K Boone and wife Sharon; 4 grandchildren: Chad May, Lance May, Tasha Terry, and Mandee Boone; & 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00am Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
