Wilma Eunice Dudley, 81, of Lubbock, formerly of Floydada, was born on February 7, 1927 in Clarendon to Alfred and Lucy (Tucker) Langford. She married Melson Dudley on November 24, 1944 in Olton. He passed away on March 13,2002. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Wilma passed away Friday, January 30, 2009.
She is survived by two sons, Darrell Dudley of Oklahoma City and Douglas Dudley of Omaha; three daughters, Donna Stansel of Lubbock, Brenda Mangold of Lockney, and Janet Steely of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; one brother, Delbert Langford; and six sisters, Dorothy Perdue, Irene Pruitt, Bonnie Stone, Jean Love, Bess Reed and Irma Rexrode.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the same chapel. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Mausoleum. The family suggests memorials may be made to Community Outreach at Central Lubbock Church of Christ.
