Obituary

William "Bill" Herman Enloe, 95, of Lubbock was born April 7, 1930 to Henry Herman Enloe & Pocahontas (McCarty) Enloe.  Bill was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean war.  He was in the National Guard from 1952 – 1961.   Bill lived in Ada, OK from 1953-1958. He married Vinita Archer June 2, 1956 in Ada, Oklahoma.  She passed away September 8, 2014 after 58 years of marriage In the later part of 1958. Bill & his wife Vinita moved to Wichita Falls until 1985 and then to Jackson, Mississippi before Austin, Texas in 1987 and finally home in Lubbock, Texas in 1988. He worked as a broadcast engineer and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.  He & his wife Vinita enjoyed RV-ing and they traveled all 50 states.

Bill went to be with the Lord Thursday January 1, 2026.  His parents: Herman & Pocahontas Enloe and his wife: Vinita Enloe were waiting at Heaven's gate for him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter: Diane Woods & husband Robert of Lubbock, his son: Keith Enloe of Wichita Falls, TX, 2 grandchildren: Jessica Woods & Doug Woods both of Lubbock, and a great-grandson: Chandler Nelson.

Services with military honors will be 1:00pm Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.  Graveside services will be at 11:00am Thursday, January 8, 2026 in Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth, Texas
