William (Buddy) E. Rogers, 80, of Lubbock was born November 23, 1940 in Comanche, TX to James E. Rogers & Ethyl (McBride) Rogers.   Buddy enjoyed dancing, bowling, and baseball.  He was a member of the Dixie Baseball League & a baseball coach.

Buddy passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021.  A son: Lester "Lin" Lindle Nelson, Jr. and 3 sisters: Joan, Nelda, & Joyce all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years: Loretta Rogers, his 4 children: Debbie Veal, Bill Nelson (Holly), Buddy Rogers, Jr. (Becky), Jimmy Rogers (Amarisa),  7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, his sister: Caroline Phippin (Brent), and several nieces & nephews.
