Will A. Mcgwier's Obituary
W. A. McGwier,83, of Lubbock was born Oct. 8, 1926 in Paris, TX to the late Wiloughby Hollis and Elizabeth (Mosley) McGwier. He was a Veteran of the Army. He married Bonnie Edwards, March 2, 1970 in Lubbock. He was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church and loved to fish.
Will passed away Sat. January 9, 2010.
He is survived by his wife: Bonnie McGwier of Lubbock, 2 Daughters: Tracy & Martin Rodriguez of Lamesa, Kristy & Loy Vasquez of Lubbock, 3 Sons: Shaun, Patrick & wife Dominique McGwier & John Paul McGwier all of Lubbock; his sister: Velma Bartelli ; mother-in-law; Mildred Edwards of Lubbock, 8 grandchildren & 2 great-grandsons.
The family will greet friends at New Covenant Baptist Church at 205 Sherman Ave. in Lubbock from 5-7pm Wednesday Jan. 13, 2010.
Services will be at 10:00am Thursday January 14, 2010 at the same church with Pastor Juan Caldron, Jr. officiating.
Military graveside services will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors.
