Wadena "Dena" Lucille Johnson, 92, of Lubbock was born August 7, 1930 in Green Township, Pennsylvania to Walter Crawford Meekins & Lottie Irene Riggle-Meekins. She married Lawrence "Larry" Edward Johnson.  He passed away in 2012.

Dena went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 3, 2022. Her parents, husband: Larry Johnson, and a daughter: Donna Huffaker were all there to greet her on the other side.

Those left to cherish her memories are her 2 sons: David "Dave" Johnson of Lubbock and James "Jim" Johnson of California, 4 grandchildren: Lindsay Johnson, Christi Heath & husband Kyle, Mike Schneider & wife Shannon, & Keith Huffaker, 6 great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Hanson, Courtney Bartosh & husband Blake, Kaitlyn & Kyler Heath, and Ryan & Nathan Schneider, 2 great-great-grandchildren with 1 on the way: Kaylee, Kenzlee, & baby boy Brooks.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.  Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
