Troy Hollice Moore, 92, of Slaton was born July 24, 1923 in Longworth, Texas to Thomas and Frankie (Arnold) Moore. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. He married Lee Biggs and she passed away March 15, 2012 after 59 years of marriage. He was a Mason for 60 years and enjoyed fishing.

Troy went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Lubbock. His neice, Ordella Spradling , who took care of him, preceded him in death December 9, 2015.

Troy was survived by his 2 sons: Thomas "Pake" Edward Moore of Las Cruses, NM and Troy Douglas Moore of Clyde, Texas; his sister: Lyndell Cobey of Bigsby, Oklahoma; his nephew: Derrel Spradling; and several great-nieces and great-nephews

Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth. Services will be at a later date in Longworth Cemetery, Longworth, Texas.
