Travis Culpepper, 87, of Slaton was born May 17, 1926 in Broadview, NM to John and Marjorie (Grundy) Culpepper. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Marjorie Ann Naylor July 2, 1943 in Portales, NM. She passed away May 30, 2002. Travis married Ada May Kahlich.
Travis went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 2, 2014. His parents, wife: Marjorie Ann and son Duane Culpepper preceded him death.

Those left to cherish her memories are his wife Ada May Culpepper; 2 sons: Lynn Culpepper and Darwin Culpepper; 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; a brother: Noel Culpepper; 2 sisters: Theresa Chisum and Edna Thompson.

Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, February 8, 2014 with viewing prior to services at 11:00am at Mighty Oak Assembly of God Church in Slaton with Terry Reeves officiating. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery in Wolfforth under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
