Tommy R. Sherrill, 66, of Lubbock was born February 21, 1945 in Lenoir City, Tennessee to Charles and Robbie (Hendrix) Sherrill. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He married Mona Vann April 6, 1970 in Clovis, NM. He retired in 2005 from the Lubbock State School. He loved to make things from wood like his wife's clocks, frames, and doll cases. Tommy will be truly missed.

Tommy went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 23, 2011.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years: Mona Sherrill, daughter: Tammy and husband Randall Gregory and 2 grandsons: Keston and Kendrick Gregory all of Lakeland, Florida, his son: Christopher R. Sherrill of Lenoir City, Tennessee, along with many friends.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services with Military Honors will be at 2:00pm Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 in the same chapel with Pastor Ed Clark of Broadview Baptist Church officiating.

Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery in Wolfforth under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors.
