Tommy Leon Conner, 68, of Lubbock was born December 30, 1944 in Rotan, Texas to Thomas Conner, Jr. and Florene (Owings) Conner. He married Judy Hogan March 20, 1965 in Lubbock. He enjoyed being with his family, going on a cruise, camping, fishing, golf and playing poker.


Tommy went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father: Thomas B. Conner, Jr. and a great-granddaughter: Miranda Conner.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother: Florene Conner of Shallowater; his wife of 48 years: Judy Conner of Lubbock; 4 children: Rickey and Tommy Jr. of Dayton, TX; Lynda Vanier of Lubbock and Kriss and husband Eric Morrow of Shallowater; a brother: Clifford and wife Sandra Conner of Shallowater; sister: Cindy and husband Johnny McDonald of Granbury; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with 4 on the way.

The family will greet friends from 3 to 5pm Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.

Services will be at 10:00am Monday, June 10, 2013 in the same chapel with Minister Nathan Fritz of Milwaukee Church of Christ officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Brandon, Chase & Colton Conner Deric & Nathan Morrow, JD Glover, John McMillan

Honorary Pallbearers will be:
Bill Freeman, Dusty, Eric, & Tony Morrow, Ethan Coker, Rickey Conner & Tom Conner, Jr.

Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery, in Abernathy under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
