Terry Don Allen, 63, of Ropesville, TX, was born November 12, 1959 in Lubbock, TX to Joe Bailey Allen, Sr. & Donnie Willora Smith-Allen. He graduated from Ropesville High School & went on to attend South Plains College in Levelland. Terry worked a variety of jobs, one being a horse wrangler at a resort in Colorado where he met his wife. He married Lydia Denise Gilson August 4, 2000 in Levelland, Tx.  The last 20 years he worked for Hockley County, most recently as a foreman for Pct 1.  He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Ropesville.  Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, & his family.

He went to his heavenly home Saturday, December 31, 2022.  His parents were there to greet him on the other side.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 22 years: Lydia Allen, brother: Joe Allen (Connie Martin), brother by choice: Tommy Barger, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & many friends.

Celebration of life services will be at 10:00am Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Church of the Nazarene in Ropesville with Pastor John Donnerberg officiating.  Burial will follow at Ropesville Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
