Susana "Nana" Paez Picon, 81, of Lubbock was born May 28, 1940 in Poteet, TX to Faustino Paez & Estefana (Guarjardo) Paez.  She was a caregiver for 60 years.   She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was a Guadalupana.   She married Johhny Picon, Jr.  September 7, 1957 in Lubbock, Tx.

Susana went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 10, 2021.  Her parents, 2 infant daughters: Gail & Gertrude, a son, Johnny Picon III, 2 sisters: Paula Hernandez and Inocencia Esqueda, a brother: Pilar Paez, a granddaughter: Lisa, and a great-granddaughter, Alexis all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband: Johnny Picon, Jr.,   6 children: Gloria Perez, Jerry Picon, Joseph Picon, Jimmy Picon, Grace Feldman, & Julian Picon, 3 brothers: Eugene, Faustino, & Genovevo Paez, 1 sister: Mary Ann Paez, 19 grandchildren, & 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at The Heights Fellowship Church at 6108 66 ^th St. in Lubbock with Pastor Mike Martindale of The Heights Fellowship Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
