Stewart E. Blackmon, 75, of Lubbock was born May 6, 1937 in Kaufman, Texas to the late Earnest (Dick) Blackmon and Willie Beatrice Burnett-Blackmon. He married Charlotte Peirce May 21, 1997 in Lubbock. He faithfully served Jehovah and shared his faith in a special capacity of preaching in various places all over the United States. He was a sweet, kind, and caring man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. He also enjoyed bird watching, camping, and the outdoors.

Stewart died Saturday, September 22, 2012. His sister: Margaret Loke preceded him in death

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Charlotte Blackmon; 1 daughter: Jacqueline Y. Jernigan; 3 sons: Mike Blackmon, Mark and wife Suzy Crawford, and Charles Crawford; Brother: Milton and wife Audrie Blackmon; 6 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 1:30pm Saturday, October 20, 2012 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1907 East 13th St., Lubbock.
Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
