Steve W. Bounds, 67, of Lubbock was born July 11, 1952 in Lubbock to Jackson Larry & Lenora May Bounds. He married Barbara B. Harrison May 22, 1971 in Lubbock. He enjoyed coaching football & softball, bowling, riding motorcycles and shooting guns with his son, daughters and grandsons. His favorite hobby was genealogy.

Steve went to be with the Lord, Sunday October 6, 2019.

His father, Jackson Larry Bounds and a brother: Larry Wayne "Bubba" Bounds both preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 48 years, Barbara Bounds, 2 daughters: Shannon Kunkel & husband Nickoy and Stacy Heald; 1 son: Steven "Bo" Bounds & wife Danielle, 10 grandchildren: Jalen, Kaden, Keegan, Logan, Lynde, Marshall, Nash, Oakley, Syloux, & Kerrilynn, his mother: Lenora, 2 brothers: Stanley & wife Carolyn, Darrell & wife Brenda, along with several nieces & nephews.
