Shirley Jean Castillo, 64, of Lubbock passed September 19, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. Shirley was born February 21, 1953 in Pablo, Colorado to Earl and Francis Ballou. Later moved to Lubbock where she met her husband Joe Castillo and then moved to Anton where they called home for many years. She worked for Wal-Mart and touched many lives.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Earl and Francis Ballou and her husband Joe Castillo.

Survivors includes her 3 son's Johnny Joe Castillo of Lubbock, Michael
Joe Castillo of Lubbock, Michael Anthony Castillo and wife Amber of Lubbock, and Jamie Ray Castillo of Amarillo. 2 daughters Mary Francis Castillo of Lubbock and Teresa Maria Castillo of Odessa. 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; Michael Ballou and wife Suzanne of Lubbock, Earl Ballou Jr and wife Tammy of San Antonio, Bruce Ballou and wife Becky of Eagle Pass; 3 sisters Sandy Brown and husband Bob of San Antonio, Norma Ballou of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Cindy Ballou and husband Rick of Lawton, Oklahoma. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will begin at 6pm to 8pm Friday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. Services will be at 10:00AM Saturday September 30, 2017 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel with Bambi Temple officiating. Entombment will follow at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery.
