Services to honor the life of Sandra Louise Dockery of Wolfforth, Texas, will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth, Texas with David Wood of Bethany Baptist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest in the mausoleum at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery in Wolfforth, Texas

Sandra passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd at her home in Wolfforth, Texas.

Sandra was born on May 19, 1940 at Fall River, Massachusetts, to Byron Paul Bottorff and Lillian Caroline Desmarias. She graduated from Rogers High School, New Port, RI. She moved to Lubbock, Texas with her husband, Bill, in 1976. Sandra worked for Texas Tech University and worked at or managed several bingo establishments. She loved her work and retired in 2014. Sandi was an avid Boston Red Sox's fan.

Survivors include her husband Bill of Wolfforth; her son, Billy Carter of Wolfforth; three grandsons, Dalton Carter and Dillon Carter of Shallowater, Jacob Dockery of Anchorage, AK; and one granddaughter, Caitlin Dockery of New York City. She is also survived by two sisters: Deborah Brennan and Carol Hale of Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Cancer Society or to their favorite charity.
