Salvador I. Carranco, 82, of Lubbock was born February 8, 1931 in Laredo, TX to Casimiro and Antonia (Irewgas) Carranco. He married Anita Martinez November 12, 1954. He drove a truck for a living. He loved camping and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Salvador went to be with the Lord Monday, December 23, 2013.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years: Anita Carranco; 2 sons: Albert and wife Yolanda, and Raul and wife Teresa; 8 Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Angelita Rodriguez and Alicia Garcia.

Rosary will be at 7:00pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be in the same chapel at 1:00pm Saturday, December 28, 2013.

Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
