R.V. Lollis' Obituary
R. V. Lollis, 84, of Lubbock, was born June 22, 1926 in Madill, OK to John Henry Lollis and Mary Ethel (Banks) Lollis. He was a carpenter and owned Lollis Woodwork in Odessa. He married Mabel Lucille Cook on April 15, 1946 in Ardmore, OK. He was a wonderful husband, father & grandfather.
R. V. passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011. He is preceded in death by his brothers and a son-in-law: Juan Jose Cadavid.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 65 years: Mabel Lucille Lollis; his children: Lucinda Cadavid of Lubbock; Joyce (Aaron) Arthur of Lorenzo; Richard Vernon Lollis of Tulsa, OK and David (Cheri) Lollis of Lubbock; 1 sister: Mary Ellen Poyner of Colony, TX; 9 Grandchildren; and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be in at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Dr. Terry W. Jones of Advanced Hospice officiating.
Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
