Roy "Chief" Lee Lance, 73, of Lubbock and formerly of Burnet, TX was born January 30, 1945 in Granite, OK to the late Orville and Freda (Kimbrell) Lance. He was the second born of six children. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, camping, and always found a home on the river. His favorite tv show was Quigley Down Under.

Chief went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 23, 2018.

Two brothers: Jimmy & Eugene Lance and 2 sisters: Wanda Lance and Beckey Headstream all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sister Betty Dennett, 2 nephews: Thomas Mooney and Donald Dennett, 2 nieces: Dawn Ward and Darla Garcia, along with several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Wolfforth Cemetery with Colleen Eppler of Kindred Hospice Care officiating.
Burial is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth
