Rosie Saldivar Perez, 77, of Post was born August 27, 1947 in Colorado to Francisco Saldivar & Concha (Asebedo) Saldivar.  She married Lupe S. Perez, Sr. May 8, 1970 in Post, TX.  He passed away November 11, 2020 after 50 years of marriage.  She was a member of Temple Bautista in Post for 40+ years.  She loved her family and the Lord.  She enjoyed singing & sharing the word of God.  Rosie was a prayer warrior. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing the meal with everyone.  She liked flowers, decorating and shopping

Rosie went to be with the Lord Friday June 20, 2025.  Her parents, husband: Lupe Perez, Sr., 2 sons: Ricky & Bobby Saldivar, her granddaughter: Alexas Perez, and 9 siblings were all waiting for her at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Lola Alaniz, Lupe Perez. Jr. & wife Serena Perez, Vickie & husband Pablo Castro, Rachel & husband Joe Quintero, and Isaac Perez, her fiance: Gabriel "Gabby" Romero, 2 sisters: Angela Bustoz, & Angelina Rodriguez, 27 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday June 25, 2025 at Thrive Family Church at 4315 Ironton Ave. in Lubbock. Celebration of life services will be at 11:00am Thursday, June 26, 2025 in the same church with Pastor Robert Cortez officiating.  Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery in Wolfforth, TX under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
