Rosa Faye White, 77, of Lubbock was born March 1, 1934 in Paris, TX to John Wesley Beniefield and Mable (Shephard) Beniefield. She worked for the State School for seven years.

She married Wilburn Theodore "W.T." White in 1951. He passed away in 1979. Two daughters: Paula Faye Abston ( Nov. 27, 2002), Terrie Ozetta Hudson (Oct. 13, 2009), a brother, and a sister-in-law: Frank Beniefield (March 16, 2008) and his wife: Elda P. Beniefield, (March 24, 2008) preceded her in death and a son who died in infancy


Rosa went to be with the Lord and family members on November 17, 2011.


She is survived by son: Kenneth Ray White, daughter: Joyce White; 6 Grandchildren: Berry Vaughan, Shawn White, Miles "Bo" Simmons, Candice Gollaher, and Amy Gollaher, Taylor Behpour and Nicolas Jones; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.


Viewing will be on Monday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel.

Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
