Rosa Rosales, 66, of Ropesville, was born Oct. 22, 1944 in Yorktown, TX to Pedro and Tomas (Balboa) Gallegos. She married John Rosales July 23, 1962 in Brownfield. She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Missions and was a homemaker.

Rosa passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 surrounded by her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: John Rosales; 3 sons: Daniel, Sammy and Ronnie Rosales; 2 daughters: Beatrice Madrigal & Becky Rodriquez all of Ropesville; 3 brothers: Juan Gallegos of Rockport, Pete Gallegos Jr. of Odessa, and Sam Gallegos of Lubbock; her grandchildren: Catherine and Daniel Madrigal, Sabrina, Steven, AnnaAlicia, Chelsea, Jacob, and April Rosales; Great-Grandchildren: Jayden, Jazmyn, Jackson, and Karissa.

Prayer services will be at 2:00pm today, Dec. 14, 2010 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Viewing on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 will at 10:00am at the Ropesville's First Baptist Church with the services beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the Ropesville Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
