Roger Gardner, 75, of Lubbock was born October 13, 1945 in San Angelo, TX to Odell Gardner & Martha (Buchanan) Gardner.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Roger was strong in his faith.  He loved Jesus.  He enjoyed playing guitar & singing.  He took great care of his beautiful garden and pecan trees.

Roger went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 5, 2021, eight days shy of his birthday.  There is no better way than to celebrate your birthday than to be with the Lord.  Roger's 3 siblings: Dennis, Sarah, & Judy all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his 4 children: Daniel (Stormie) Gardner, Jonathan Gardner, Melissa (Alan) Rhodes and Benjamin Gardner (Valerie Clary), 6 grandchildren: Patrick & wife Clarisa, Hunter & wife Bridgett, Bailey, Jordan, Segan, & Holden, 3 great-grandchildren: Amelia, Marcella, & Oliver, his brother: Bobby Gardner, and sister: Nancy Gardner.

Memorial services will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Mike Martindale of The Heights Fellowship officiating.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
