Rodney "Bubba" Barton, Jr. 43, was born March 4, 1974 in Lubbock to Rodney Barton, Sr. and Dorothy LaWanda Henderson. He was a hard worker and always had a project going. Bubba wasn't afraid to show affection and was very funny and creative. He loved his sons with all of his heart. He was also married to Cindy Haney for 23 years.

Bubba passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. His father preceded him in death last year.

Those left to cherish his memories are his 3 sons: Joshua and Justin Barton & Nicholas Rendon; mother: Dorothy Henderson; maternal grandmother: Mary Belle Henderson; a sister: Lona Barton; a niece: Averyl BreAnna Settler; a nephew: Bryan Wesley McDaniel; & a great-neice: Eerowynn Bartley. Two aunts and two uncles, many cousins and lots of friends including a special friend named Heather Dawn Dyer.


Memorial services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Pastor Monty Hilliard of Quaker Ave. Baptist Church. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
