Robert "Bob" R. Cope, 89, of Lubbock was born December 1, 1923 in Quannah, Texas to John and Bess (Rash) Cope. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He married Pauline "Pauly" Mayber who passed away August 6, 2005 after 60 years of marriage. He was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Lubbock

Bob passed away Monday, January 14, 2013. His son: John Cope preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter: Marge Montgomery of Dallas, son: Robert Cope and wife Mary Kay of Richardson, TX; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Lubbock. His ashes will be in St. Christopher's Episcopal Church Columbarium. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Lubbock.
