Rita Joann Brooks, 83, of Wolfforth was born February 12. 1943 in Willcox, Arizona to Alva Williams & Georgia Bell Wyatt.  She married David Charles Brooks on January 19, 1959 in Naco, Mexico.  She was a longtime member of Downtown Bible Class.  Rita was an insurance agent for 40 years.  She enjoyed painting, art, and camping, but most of all she enjoyed her family.
Rita went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2026.  Her parents: Alva & Georgia Bell Williams, and her sister: Shirley Foggy were waiting for her at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 67 years: David Brooks, her son: David Chris Brooks and wife: Stephanie, 2 daughters: Mozelle Pace & husband Scott, and Kerry Davis & husband Mike, 5 grandchildren, 4 sisters: Vergene Vogel, Colleen Lanier, Wendy Mattingly, & Donna Brunson.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
