Richard Edmond Little, 75, of Smyer was born July 24th, 1946 in Gause, TX to Roy E. Little and Rosie (Hamilton) Little.  Affectionately known as "Papaw" by his grandkids, his favorite things about life were his family, anything to do with the "old west," black coffee, the sweet taste of cigarette, REAL country singers like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, and working in the bakery. A self-described "outlaw," he never shied away from hard work, was ornery and stubborn, a great storyteller, funny, and most of all, loved his family deeply.

Richard went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 9th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents & 5 siblings: Billie, David, Betty, his twin brother Charlie, and Walter.

Those left to cherish his memories are his 3 children: Melissa Lide, husband, John, Brian Little and wife Aimee, and Brice Little, along with 8 grandchildren: Kelsey (Jenny), Matthew, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, Zaiden, Ember, Rowan, and Ezra; and previous spouse: Mary Little, and his sister: Helen Hollers (Larry).

Services will be at 11:00am Thursday, April 14th, 2022, at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth, TX with Pastor John Murdoch of Christian Life Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to Palliative Care at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.
