Ralph Gilbert Beistle, 87, of Lubbock was born August 16, 1930 in Dawson, OK to Vernon Dean Beistle and Erma Lee (Lewis) Beistle.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He married Nellie Belle Denton, June 30, 1953 in Edinburg, TX.  She passed away October 19, 1987 after 34 years of marriage.  Ralph was a Minister at South Plains Church of Christ since 1991.  He also preached at Northside, Kress, Coahoma & Tahoka Churches of Christ.  He enjoyed computer word games and puns.

Ralph went to be with the Lord Monday June 25, 2018 surrounded by his children.

Those left to cherish his memories are 3 children: Linda & husband Tony Kite, and Terry & husband Don Ford, and Kent & wife Kitty Beistle; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, 10 great-grandchildren, and his brother Donald Beistle.

The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 pm Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with private entombment in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery.  Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at South Plains Church of Christ at 6802 Elkhart Ave. in Lubbock with Jim Brewer and Charles Stephenson officiating.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Lubbock Christian University Bible Department or a charity of your choice.
