Dr. Qahtan Malki, MD, FACC, 39, of Lubbock was born July 19, 1970 in Damascus, Syria to Riad Malki and Najdat Khammash Malki.
He practiced interventional cardiology in Lubbock since 2002.
Dr. Malki passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010.
He is survived by his parents, Najdat and Riad; two brothers, Adnan and Omran; his wife, Lama; and three children, Fawwaz, Noura and Razanne.
Services were held Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Islamic Center of the South Plains Community Center with burial at the Wolfforth Cemetery in Wolfforth, TX.
Arrangements were under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
