Phyllis Ann Gilley-Kelso, 58, of Lubbock was born February 27, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joseph Frances and Pearly (Schoppa) Gilley. She graduated from Locket High School in Vernon, TX in 1970. She married Kenneth Kelso August 14, 1987 in Lubbock. She loved to sew & sewed blankets for the homeless. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Eugene Gilley.
She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Kelso of Lubbock, 4 children: Misty Smith of Wolfforth, Brad Smith, Christopher Kelso and Kevin Kelso all of Lubbock; 5 Grandchildren: Paige, Emileigh, Jacob, Ethan, and Vivian; 3 sisters: Barbara Davis of Lubbock, Kathryn Railsback of Logan, NM, Christine Champion of Many, LA, and a sister-in-law: Ann Hennig of Farmers Branch, TX.
Services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Dupree officiating.
Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
