Petronilo "Pete" Lucio Flores, 68, of Idalou was born August 14, 1950 in Slaton to Fidel & Mary (Lucio) Flores. He married Ellen Garcia January 27, 2000 in Lubbock. He enjoyed gospel music, visiting and being funny. He played the drums at church with his brother Fidel.

Pete went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 9, 2018. His parents preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his best friend of 26 years: Ellen Garcia, 5 Daughters: Beatrice & husband David Quintana, Brenda Cervantez, Belinda & husband Miguel Flores, Bernice & husband Jimmy Paiz, & Dolly Flores; 3 brothers: Martin Alvarado & wife Victoria, Ysidrio Alvarado, and Fidel Flores and wife Lilly; 1 sister: Lillie and husband Martin Trevino; 21 grandchildren, & numerous great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 1:00pm to 8pm Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Graveside Services are 11:00am Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with Pastor Eliseo Chapa officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
