Petra G. Rivera, 87, of Corpus Christi, Tx and formerly of Ropesville, Tx was born May 19, 1934 in Hondo, TX to Jose Gonzales & Maria (Ramirez) Gonzales.  She married Lucas Rivera in 1966 in Florida and he passed away October 19, 1995 after 29 years of marriage.

Petra went to be with the Lord Friday, February 18, 2022.  Her parents, husband, & her son: Rogelio Mireles Sr. all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her 3 daughters: Berta Mireles (Poncho Maldonado) of Pompano Beach, FL., Alicia Perez (Edward) of Corpus Christi, TX., & Julie Rivera (Harvey Solis) of Ropesville, 5 sons: Roberto & Joe Mireles (Julie) both of Ropesville, Rosalio Mireles (Christina) of Brownfield, Luis Mireles (Brenda) of Balinger Tx & Martin Rivera of Corpus Christi Tx, 23 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will begin at 1:00pm Wednesday February 23, 2022 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with the Rosary beginning at 6:00pm.  Services will be at 10:00am Thursday, February 24, 2022 in the same chapel with Pastor Marcelino Banda officiating.  Burial will follow at the Ropesville Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
