Patricia Darlene Preslar-Franks, 58, of Lubbock was born September 3, 1956 in Dallas , TX to Horace and Clarria (Wilkerson) Preslar. She graduated from Lubbock High School and received an Executive Secretary diploma. She owned Franks Crafts and Creations and was very gifted. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Sunrise Church of Christ. She married John I. Franks, Jr. Oct. 6, 1990 in Lubbock.

Patricia went to be with the Lord, Monday, July 20, 2015. Her daughter: Alexandra Lee Janow preceded her in death in October 2014

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 25 years, John I Franks, Jr.; 3 Daughters: Lynne Northcutt (Keith); Mary Morgan (Paul); and Aaron Brocklehurst (John); 1 Son: John Franks III; 2 Brothers: Bill and Jackson Cole; 1 Sister: Vyonda Keeton (Eddie); 1 Nephew: Billy Cole; and 9 Grandchildren.


The family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Wilsons ' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 2:00pm Friday, July 24, 2015 in the same chapel. Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons ' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to Patricia's funeral fund at any Wells Fargo Bank in care of Patricia Darlene Franks account #8829138083.
