Pastor John Ramirez, 54, of Ropesville was born October 30, 1957 in Lubbock to Regino and Cruz Gonzales. He was a supervisor at West Texas Abatement. He filled in as Pastor where he was needed and married Diana Rosales on September 13, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved riding his motorcycle and being with his family.

Pastor John went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 4, 2012. His parents and a son: Nicolas Garza preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife: Diana Ramirez, his children: Stephanie, Sandra, and Jessica Ramirez, Adriana Garza, Erik, Christopher, and Joshua Sanchez; 2 brothers: Carlos Ramirez and Ricky Gonzales; 7 sisters: Carolina Sanchez, Guadalupe Gonzales, Delia Ramirez, Carmen and Cruz Viruegas, Connie Zambrano, Mary Zavala; and 10 grandchildren.

Viewing will be today Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 10 to 8pm at New Life Baptist Church 118 West Main in Wolfforth. Memorial services will be at 5:00pm Friday, September 7, 2012 in the same church with Pastor Lupe Perez officiating. Cremation services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
