Norma Ruth Duke, 95, of Lubbock was born December 22, 1925 in Woodson, TX to Aaron Springs Turner & Resse (Matthiews) Turner.  She married Joe Bailey Duke Aug. 31, 1951 in Carlsbad, NM. He passed away Feb. 12, 1973.  She later married Melvin Lee Farr, June 26, 1981 in Odessa, Tx.  He passed away Aug. 8, 1982.  She was a member of Life Point Church.  Norma was a LVN and worked private duty and at Methodist hospital. Norma was a Christian; loving wife & mother and she was an excellent nurse.  Norma never met a stranger and touched the lives of so many people in a positive way.  She will be dearly missed.

Norma passed from this life Saturday, July 17, 2021.  Preceded in death by six other siblings: Willard Turner, Buck Turner, Ruby Sanders, Dorothy Washington, Betty Monet, and Ann Vinson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons: Joe Duke & wife Margaret of Lubbock, and Cecil Ray Duke & wife Suzanne of Snook, TX, and one brother Calvin "Sonny" Turner of Delta, CO.  Norma has four grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Private graveside services for the immediate family will be Tuesday at Muleshoe Cemetery with Pastor Richard Harbison of Life Point Church of Lubbock officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

A memorial celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
