Maria Angela Rodriguez, 94, of Lubbock was born October 2, 1926 in Coleman, Texas to Casimero & Antonia (Iruegas) Carranco.  She married Ezequiel Rodriguez July 2, 1970 in Dimmitt, TX.  He passed away January 9, 1991 after 21 years of marriage. She was a charter member of Alliance Baptist Church in Lubbock.  She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed arts & crafts.

Maria went to be with the Lord Friday, October 23, 2020.  Her parents, husband, a son: Albert Abrego (April 2013), a brother: Salvador Carranco (Dec. 2013) all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Yolanda Abrego of Amarillo, 2 grandsons: Aaron Abrego of Amarillo & William "Willie" Abrego of California, 2 granddaughters: Jammie Dinning of California & Amanda Jutten of Tennessee, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister: Alicia Garcia of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces & nephews that she dearly loved.

Viewing will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm Thursday October 29, 2020 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Thursday at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
