Maria T. Cruz, 92, of Ropesville, Tx was born October 22, 1930 in Coke County, TX to Juan Torrez & Juana (Garcia) Torrez. She married Juan C. Cruz and together had a son: Johnny Cruz and a daughter: Cenaida "Sandy" Rodriguez. Maria enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her sisters. She was a member of St. Francisco de Asis Catholic Church in Ropesville, TX.

Maria went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Her parents, husband: Juan C. Cruz, daughter: Cenaida "Sandy" Rodriguez, 5 brothers & 4 sisters were all waiting at the gates of Heaven for her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son: Johnny Cruz & wife Cathy of Muleshoe, Tx, her son-in-law: Anselmo Rodriguez, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, & 2 great-great-grandchildren, 2 siblings: Juanita Cruz & Jose Y (Chavel) Torrez, along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Rosary will be at 6:00pm Friday, May 5, 2023 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Celebration of life services will be at 11:00am Saturday May 6, 2023 at the Ropesville Cemetery with Father John Ohlig officiating. Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth
