Marguerite Jose Freer, 88, of Granbury was born February 18, 1920 in Eastland, TX to the late Claude and Sarepta (Kincaid) Miller. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Sherman, TX
She is survived by her husband of 70 years: Durward A. Freer of Granbury, 2 Sons: Durward Kingsley Freer and wife Nancy of Whitewright, TX, and Billy Jack Freer of Quinlan, TX; 4 Grandchildren: Lance Freer, Victor Freer, Zodi Ragsdale and Bryan Bell and her brother: Robert Miller and wife Hawjanna of Lubbock.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Maida Roberson and Emma Carrigan and three brothers Winfred, Glen and Milford Miller.
Marguerite and Durward were married in 1938 and lived in Lubbock from 1949 to 1984. They moved to Granbury upon retiring. Marguerite was a faithful wife, homemaker and beautician. She was a long time member of the Granbury Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30pm Monday at Wilsons' Funeral Director Chapel in Wolfforth, TX Celebration of life services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
