Malinda Darlene Murdock of Wolfforth was born December 28, 1948 to Fred Oswald and Effie Mae (Satterfield) Qualls in Lubbock. She was a waitress at Riley's Burgers and helped her husband with the family owned H & T Air Conditioning Co. She married Harold Murdock May 22, 1964 in Lubbock. She was a member of Faith Temple Church.


Darlene passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 at the age of 59 years 11 months & 2 days.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Lori Ann Murdock and a grandson: Christofer Chance Fields; 5 brothers & sisters: Marie Waters, Irene Oliphint, D.L. Qualls, Donald Ray Qualls and R.L. Qualls

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Harold Murdock; 2 Sons: Michael & wife Stephanie Murdock and Terry & wife Sonya Murdock; 1 Daughter: Lisa & husband Joey Fields; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter: Kelsey Noel Murdock.

The family will greet friends Thursday from 6 to 8pm at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 11:00am Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 in the same chapel with Pastor Ricky Oliphint of Faith Temple Church officiating. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery.
