Louis Lynn Howard, 77, of Lubbock was born February 14, 1943 in Denison, TX to Louis & Vitna (Reasor) Howard.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He married Jimmie Ellon McMillan May 30, 1964 in Lubbock.  She passed away Sept. 10, 1993.  He later married Fern Dunlap May 4, 2009.  She passed away November 20, 2020.  Louis was a master electrician for many years.  He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and the Gideons International.  He attended Texas Tech and Baptist Bible College before graduating from Fort Belvoir Engineering School.

Louis went to be with the Lord Monday, January 18, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son: Stephen Howard and his wife Simone' Lee, his step-son: Mike Ward, 6 grandchildren: Austin Heath Rudder, Jacob Lynn Howard, Caleb John Howard, Sloane Carolyn Meier, Rachel Cadence Meier, & Lauren Michaela Rudder, step-sister: Beverly Olsen of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and step-brother: Richard Wayne Howard of College Station.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Pastor Ken Carter officiating.  Jerry Newman will provide the music.  Entombment was in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
