Lester "Lin" Lindle Nelson, Jr., 57, of Lubbock was born May 23, 1954 in Lubbock to Lester L. Nelson, Sr. and Loretta Morrison. His father preceded him in death. He married the love of his life Debbie Stapleton October 16, 1971 in Lubbock. He was a machinist, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with family and friends.

Lin passed away Friday, September 30, 2011.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years: Debbie Nelson; son: Lester "Bubba" and wife Jodi Nelson; daughter: Linda and husband Shane Collins; Mom and Dad: Loretta and Buddy Rogers; 3 brothers: Bill Nelson, Buddy Rogers, Jr. and wife Christine, and Jimmy Rogers; 2 sisters: Debbie Veal and Brenda Nelson; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
