Leroy Brown, 80, of Lubbock was born August 25, 1937 in Whitewright, TX to Borden Slater Brown and Rosa Lee (Pritchett) Brown. He married Jean McAlister February 14, 1958. He played in several country western & rock-n-roll bands, enjoyed fishing, and sold industrial equipment for Western Clarklift. He was active in his church at True Life Church.

LeRoy went to be with the Lord Friday, March 9, 2018. His son, Steve Brown passed away Oct. 6, 2017 and a sister, Helen Call preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 60 years: Jean Brown, son, Ronnie Brown & wife Leticia; a brother: Robert "Bobby" Brown & wife Sue, a sister: Bettie JoAnn Thomas; 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 5 great-granddaughters & 2 great-grandsons.

Viewing will begin at 10:00am Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at True Life Church at 5426 50th St. in Lubbock. Services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday in the same church with Rev. James Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
