Geneva Laverne Anglin, 75, of Lubbock was born May 2, 1949 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Cecil Tony Tyson & Berta Dean (Rowbottham) Tyson. Laverne married Richard "Bud" Stinson on August 8, 1997 in Lubbock.   She enjoyed watching old Western movies and game shows.  She also enjoyed going to the casino with her mother-in-law: Mary Stinson.

Laverne went to be with the Lord Friday, March 28, 2025.  Her parents & mother-in-law: Mary Stinson were waiting for her at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 28 years: Bud Stinson, her children: Kevin Elmore (Carol), Traci Belcher, & Kellie Belcher (Yvonne Ortiz), 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey Elmore, Josh Elmore, Kevin Elmore, II, Devin (Cassondra), Chad, Mitchel (Kris), & Tabatha, 16 great-grandchildren, her brother: Robbie Tyson (Sharon), 2 nieces: Elizabeth (J.J.) & Elissa (Josh), her nephew: Eric, 5 great-nieces & nephews: Nathanael, Jovi, Kaniiya, Maliya, & Nova, along with her 2 dogs: Maggie & Millie.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
