Larry E. Hegwood, 52 of Lubbock was born January 25, 1957 in Moultrie City, GA to Hoyt Hegwood & Charlotte Lee. He was a Carpet layer since 1982. His father preceded him in death June 27, 2000.

Larry passed away Wednesday October 7, 2009.

Larry is survived by his wife: Ann of Lubbock; 2 step-daughters: Barbara Guffey of Oklahoma & Maxine Fant of San Angelo; Step-mother: Marie Langston of Lubbock; 2 sons from his first marriage: Sgt. Mark Eugene Hegwood, currently serving in Iraq & Larry Wayne Hegwood of Florida; His Mother: Charlotte Lee of Jacksonville, FL; 2 sisters: Vicki Snell & Donna Hines of Jacksonville, Fl; 2 brothers: Ray Hegwood of LaGrange, Georgia & Robert Hegwood of Valdosta, FL; also 2 step-sisters & 1 step-brother and a total of 8 Grandchildren & 2 Great-Grandchildren

The family will greet friends from 3 to 5pm Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel.

Services will be at 2:00pm Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 in the same chapel with Rick Oliphant of Faith Temple officiating.

Cremation will be under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
