Kathy Jean Massie of Shallowater was born December 5, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas to Travis Dean Thomas and Dot (Harrison)Thomas. She was with the love of her life, Al Massie for 37 years. She loved her family and being with her grandsons. She loved crafts, especially sand art.

Kathy went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 54 years, 8 months, and 23 days.

Those left to cherish her memories are her mom: Dot Thomas; her husband: Al Massie; 4 children: Brandie Diane Massie, Amie Michelle Massie, Alphonso Massie, Jr., and Benjamin Travis Massie; 1 Brother: James Roy Thomas; 3 sisters: Cindie Hampton, Shelley Qualls, and Michelle Thomas; and 2 Grandsons.

Viewing will be from 10am to noon on Wednesday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will follow at 2:00pm Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the same chapel. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
