Juan G. Hernandez, 79, of Ropesville, was born June 23, 1933 in LaVilla, TX to Servillon and Eluteria (Guardiola) Hernandez. He married Maria A. Andrade Sept. 13, 1970 in Ropesville. Juan retired after 20 years of ginning in Ropesville.

Juan passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years: Maria A. Hernandez; daughter: Elizabeth Hernandez & husband Dalmir Viera of Dallas; 2 sons: Servillon and wife Sophia Hernandez of Lubbock, & Martin and wife Janie Echavarria of Ropesville; 12 grandchilden: Kristopher, Kassandra, Kristina, Klorisa, Maria, Jorge, Andrea, Stephanie, Talitha, Peter, Veronica, & Aurora; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Juan's twin brother: Pablo Hernandez of Childress; along with many brothers & sisters including Emila, Flora, & Elena.
