Juan Daniel Duarte, 44, was born on June 9, 1975 in Lubbock.  He enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. Juan graduated from Lubbock High School and in 2014 from Kaplan College, as a patient care technician. Juan was awarded the Cum Laude 3.5 to 3.74 GPA, Magna Cum Laude 3.75 to 3.99 GPA, and outstanding attendance.

Juan went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 5, 2020.   Preceding him in death was his father, Isaias M. Duarte, his step-brother, Michael Duarte, and his sister Josephina Gonzales.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother of 82,  Francisca Duarte and Salome Torres Salas. His brothers and sisters: San Juan Daniel Duarte, David Duarte, Irlene Landin, Dianne Duarte, Isaias Duarte and Jesus Miguel Duarte. His step-brothers and sisters: Kathy Deleon, Ruben Duarte, Rebecca Rendon, Roxanne Duarte, Luis Salas, III, and Mark salas.

Memorial services will be at 7:00pm Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Maranatha Church of the Living God, at 4313 Ave D. Lubbock, TX 79407, with Pastor Elias Garcia officiating.

Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
