Johnathan "John" Stephen Morales, 35, of Lubbock was born October 20, 1987 in Lubbock to Atanacio "AR" Morales, Jr. & Nelda Hernandez-Bustoz.  He worked for WT Energy Resources.  He enjoyed life to the fullest.  His favorite time was with family & family movie time.  He loved carpentry, fishing, playing his guitar, and being a gamer.

John passed away Tuesday July 18, 2023.  His step-dad: Juan Bustoz, Jr. and his sister: Krystle Calvillo preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are the light of his life, his daughter: Melody Morales, his dad: Atanacio "AR" Morales, Jr. & wife Mary Alice Morales, his mom: Nelda Bustoz, 13 siblings: Atanacio Morales, III of Lubbock, Isabel Morales of Odessa, Vanessa Antoine of Austin, Andrea "Jodi" Morales & Monica Morales both of Lubbock, Julian & Jaime Morales both of Tahoka, LTC Jacob Bustoz of San Antonio, Zina Bustoz of Post, Jennifer Bustoz of Lubbock, Brian Bustoz of Phoenix, AZ, Priscilla Bustoz of Post & Christi Diaz of Lubbock, 19 nieces & nephews, and 9 great-nieces & nephews.

Viewing will begin at 10:00am Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.  Celebration of John's life will begin at 1:00pm Saturday in the same chapel.   Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery along beside his grandparents: Atanacio & Alejandra Morales.

Pallbearers will be Monkey Mike Medina, Carlos Martinez, Blake Earras, Maurice Welch, Martin Carrasco, Tracey Perez, & Ricky Martinez.
