John Veal Adams, 82, of Plainview was born January 20, 1927 in Ranger, Tx to Eli & Uvella Adams. He graduated from Ranger High School. John married Carroll Boyce July 25, 1954 in Abilene, TX. She passed away October 16, 1990. He was preceded in death by his 8 brothers & sisters. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors & enjoyed life to the fullest.

John passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Plainview.

He is survived by his family whom he loved: his daughter: Linda and Husband Tommy Sutton of Fritch, TX, his grandson: Robert Hardy of Wolfforth; and his 2 great-grandsons: Blake & Brennen Hardy.

Graveside services in Plainview will be at 1:00pm Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Plainview Memorial Park with his hunting buddy, Barry Whedbee of College Heights Baptist Church officiating.
