Janie A. Castro, 61, of Levelland was born October 11, 1958 in Quanah, TX to the late Henry & Andrea (Coronado) Apolinar. She married Dorie A. Castro, Sr. August 22,1982 in Post, TX. She was a Homemaker, loved Her Family, and Her Grandkids were Her life. She enjoyed hiking at Crazy Horse, South Dakota, watching Her favorite Cowboy movies, Serving those in need at any chance and was very supportive to Her husband. She was a member of Maranatha Church of the Living God.

Janie went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 37 years: Dorie Castro, Sr., 2 children: Dorie Castro, Jr. and Jennifer Rose Castro-Huerta and husband Jr. Huerta, 3 grandchildren: Genesis Sierra Zuniga, Noah Joel Zuniga, & Judah Matthias Huerta, siblings: Rosa Martin, Rudy Apolinar & wife Kayla, Tony Apolinar & wife Fernanda, and Angie Apolinar, along with several nieces and nephews.
